For over a decade, Penticton Pet Resort has been trusted as the premier pet resort of the South Okanagan. Penticton Pet Resort is a family owned business. Lindsey, the owner, is extremely passionate about animals. A lifelong dog lover and owner, Lindsey knows what pet owners expect and what their beloved pets need.
Penticton Pet Resort’s staff is knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and trustworthy. Our goal is to offer you all the conveniences and elite service you and your beloved pets need.
Lindsey was born and raised in the Penticton area. Being around animals has always been a way of life for Lindsey. Growing up she had dogs and cats at home and volunteered at local ranches in exchange for riding.
After college, Lindsey worked in the education field during the week while spending weekends walking dogs and house-sitting for people with many types of pets including everything from dogs, cats, birds, and lizards to horses and other farm animals.
In 2006, Lindsey decided to work full time in pet care and started walking dogs and boarding dogs at her home. She soon realized that she had found her true calling and opened Penticton Pet Resort in 2007, a business devoted to professional dog care.
Lindsey knows how important it is to continue to learn and to keep up with the latest advancements in pet care. Lindsey continues to take numerous courses in dog training and behaviour. She has also been certified in Pet first Aid by St. John Ambulance, Walks and Wags and DogSafe Caniine First Aid.
Giving back to the community is important to Lindsey. She volunteers as a guest speaker at SPCA kids camps. She also holds classes at local dog parks for elementary schools, educating kids on how to care for and respect dogs.
Lindsey’s favourite part of every day is leading mountain hikes for her pack of regulars, with her own dog, Olive leading the way.
When it comes to animals, Lindsey has endless energy! She puts this towards her goal of providing the absolute best care for all her furry clients.
My name is Rebecca, I was born and raised in Penticton and have lived here all my life. I've always had a passion for animals, but more specifically, dogs. My rescue dog Koda is my best friend, and favorite adventure pal. I very much enjoy caring for dogs and have since I received my first puppy at 6 years old. My love for dogs has only grown since then.

Puppies and kitties and ponies, oh my! Naomi was raised here in the Okanagan on a ranch surrounded by all manner of animals; from rodents to reptiles and everything in between, horses and dogs remain her favourite. When she’s not at Penticton Pet Resort loving on the pups, she can usually be found up in the hills with her own dogs on the back of a horse.
